Credit products
Enter each partner bank's rate sheet (amounts, down payment, terms, rate, fee, and vehicle rules) so your buyers can simulate it.
A credit product is the rate sheet a bank gives you: how much it lends, with what down payment, over what terms, at what rate, and for which cars. What you enter here is what your buyers see in "Estimate financing".
Watch it on video · 2:25Create a credit product for your customersCliquéalo Academy · FinancingWithout products, your cars have no simulation
On your agency's cars, the simulator only offers your active products. If you don't have any, the buyer sees "No financing products are available right now." and your cars don't show up with the catalog's "Financing" filter.
Before you start
- Be in the Autos (cars) section of your panel.
- A role with the «Editar perfil de agencia» ("Edit agency profile") permission.
- At least one active partner bank. If you don't have one, you see «Sin bancos registrados» ("No banks registered") and the «Registrar banco» ("Register bank") button. See Partner banks.
- The bank's rate sheet at hand.
Where it is
Go to AjustesMi agenciaProductos aliados ("Settings > My agency > Partner products"). You also get there from «Productos» ("Products") on a partner bank's row; in that case the list shows only that bank's products.
Each row shows the bank's logo, the product name, its status chip, and a summary: «Enganche desde 20% · 12-60 meses · Tasa 14.5% · Comisión 2.5% · Presta $70,000 — $1,000,000» ("Down payment from 20% · 12-60 months · Rate 14.5% · Fee 2.5% · Lends $70,000 — $1,000,000"). The «Configurar tabulador» ("Set up rate sheet") button opens the product to edit it.
Create a product
Tap «Nuevo producto» ("New product") (or «Crear producto», "Create product", if the list is empty). The «Nuevo producto de crédito» ("New credit product") form is split into sections you go through one at a time; the sections menu shows each one's summary.
Product
- «Banco aliado» ("Partner bank"): the institution that gives these terms.
- «Nombre del producto» ("Product name"): the commercial name, for example «Auto Estrene». It's required, from 2 to 120 characters.
- «Configuración técnica» ("Technical settings") > «Identificador interno» ("Internal identifier"): optional. If you leave it empty, Cliquéalo creates it from the name. It only accepts lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens.
Amounts
- «Préstamo mínimo» ("Minimum loan"): the least the bank lends. If what's left after subtracting the down payment is less, the product doesn't apply.
- «Préstamo máximo» ("Maximum loan"): the most it lends. It isn't a cap on the car's price: if the car costs more, the customer puts the difference in as down payment.
- «Enganche mínimo» ("Minimum down payment"): the percentage of the price the customer pays. Move it with the slider, between «Sin enganche» ("No down payment") and «Pago total» ("Full payment"), or type it in «Valor exacto» ("Exact value").
Terms and costs
- «Plazo mínimo» ("Minimum term") and «Plazo máximo» ("Maximum term"): you choose among 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42, 48, 54, 60, 66, 72, and 84 months. The maximum can never be less than the minimum.
- «Tasa anual» ("Annual rate"): the ordinary rate the bank reports, as a percentage (14.5). It isn't the CAT (total annual cost).
- «Comisión de apertura» ("Origination fee"): the percentage charged only once on the financed amount.
Vehicles
Define which cars it can finance. Empty fields don't restrict anything. See Vehicle rules.
Buyer view
«Así lo verá el comprador» ("This is how the buyer will see it") shows you the bank, the name, «Enganche desde» ("Down payment from"), «Plazo» ("Term"), «Tasa anual», and «Comisión» ("Fee"), plus the cheapest car that qualifies.
Availability and save
Choose «Disponible» ("Available") or «Oculto» ("Hidden") and tap «Crear tabulador» ("Create rate sheet"). While it saves, it says «Creando…» ("Creating…"). When it's done, you see «Producto creado.» ("Product created.") and you go back to the list.
If a required field is empty or badly written, you see «Revisa los campos pendientes antes de guardar.» ("Check the pending fields before saving.") and the form takes you to the section with the problem.
The cheapest car that qualifies
With the minimum loan and the minimum down payment, the «Vista comprador» ("Buyer view") calculates the lowest price a car can have to use the product: «El auto más barato que aplica cuesta $87,500. No hay tope de precio: en autos más caros el cliente sube el enganche.» ("The cheapest car that qualifies costs $87,500. There's no price cap: on more expensive cars the customer raises the down payment.").
For example, with a minimum loan of $70,000 and a minimum down payment of 20%, an $80,000 car doesn't qualify: after removing the down payment, $64,000 is left to lend, less than the minimum.
If you set the minimum down payment to 100%, you see «Con 100% de enganche no queda nada por prestar: ningún auto aplica.» ("With a 100% down payment there's nothing left to lend: no car qualifies.").
Vehicle rules
In «Elegibilidad del vehículo» ("Vehicle eligibility"):
- «Antigüedad máxima» ("Maximum age"): you choose the oldest year you accept. It's saved as age in years, so every January it shifts on its own. «Sin límite» ("No limit") accepts any year.
- «Kilometraje máximo» ("Maximum mileage"): a cap on kilometers. Empty means «Sin límite».
- «Marcas preferentes» ("Preferred brands"): they're shown first, but the others aren't rejected.
- «Sólo estas marcas» ("Only these brands"): if you choose any, the rest are left out.
In «Excepciones y criterios especiales» ("Exceptions and special criteria"):
- «Marcas excluidas» ("Excluded brands"): they always win over allowed and preferred brands.
- «Sólo estos modelos» ("Only these models") and «Modelos excluidos» ("Excluded models").
- «Carrocerías permitidas» ("Allowed body styles"), «Combustibles permitidos» ("Allowed fuels"), and «Transmisiones permitidas» ("Allowed transmissions"). Separate them with commas.
- «Origen de la unidad» ("Unit origin"): «Inventario» ("Inventory", own cars) or «Consigna» ("Consignment"). If you don't check either, it accepts both.
- «Criterios adicionales del aliado» ("Additional partner criteria"): contract rules that don't fit in the previous fields. When you write here, the «Requiere validación manual aunque cumpla las reglas automáticas» ("Requires manual validation even if it meets the automatic rules") box is checked on its own.
A car that doesn't meet the rules doesn't see this product in its simulator. If no product applies, the car doesn't carry the "Financing" chip in the catalog.
Edit a product
Tap «Configurar tabulador» on the product's row. At the top you see «Producto de agencia» ("Agency product") and its status. Change what you need and tap «Guardar cambios» ("Save changes"). When it's done, you see «Cambios guardados.» ("Changes saved.").
Changes apply to new simulations. Simulations and quotes already made keep their numbers.
To stop offering a product, open it, choose «Oculto» in «Disponibilidad» ("Availability"), and save. It can't be deleted.
Product statuses
It's offered in the simulator of the cars that meet its rules. In its form, «Disponibilidad» says «Visible y cotizable» (Visible and quotable).
What you can do: Edit it or hide it.
This is how it looks on the list when you saved it as «Oculto». Inside the product the chip says «Inactivo» (Inactive). It doesn't appear in the simulator or in new quotes.
What you can do: Choose «Disponible» again and save.
The usual case
You enter the bank's rate sheet
You fill in amounts, terms, rate, and fee, leave vehicles without restrictions, and save it as «Disponible». Your cars that reach the minimum loan now offer the product.
Something doesn't work the first time
The bank only finances recent pre-owned cars
You set «Antigüedad máxima» and «Kilometraje máximo». Older cars or cars with more kilometers don't see the product.
Worst case
None of your cars sees the product
Check the «Vista comprador»: maybe the minimum loan with your down payment leaves your prices out, or the vehicle rules are too strict. Also confirm it's set to «Disponible».
Special case
You open a product that no longer exists
You see «Producto no encontrado» ("Product not found") and «Este producto ya no existe» ("This product no longer exists"). Tap «Ver productos» ("View products") to go back to the list.
