View an ad

What each part of an ad tells you and how to read its trust signals.

Tap any card in the catalog to open the ad. "Back to catalog" takes you back to the list.

When we ask for your account

Without an account you can open a few ads and agency pages. When you open the next one, the "Create account" window appears with the text "To keep browsing, create a free account or sign in. When you're done, you'll come back to this same page.". From then on it also appears on the catalog, until you sign in to your account.

  • On your phone it slides up from the bottom; on a computer, it appears in the center of the screen. It doesn't close: you need your account to keep browsing.
  • Create your account with "Continue with Google" or with your details. If you already have one, tap "Sign in"; if you don't remember your password, "Forgot password?". Everything happens in the same window.
  • If you sign up with your email, confirm it with the code you receive, as in Create your account.
  • When you're done, you come back to the page you were opening, now with your account. Once you're signed in we don't ask for your account again: not while browsing and not when you publish.
  • The ad you open from a link someone shared with you or from a search engine is always visible; the window appears if you go on from there to another one.
  • The Terms, the Privacy notice, help, the contact page, and the pages to publish your ad always open, with or without an account.

On the catalog card

Each card shows a photo, make and model, price, mileage, location, and "Listed by" with the seller's name. These chips can appear on top of the photo:

Boosted

The seller paid to give it more visibility.

Car year

The model year, for example 2021.

Agency name

An agency or car lot is selling it. Tap the chip to see its page.

InventarioInventory

The car belongs to the seller's own inventory.

ConsignaConsignment

Whoever published it is selling it on behalf of someone else.

Financing

The car is eligible for credit with some bank.

Season, for example «Buen Fin»

The car has a season offer: a special price, a perk, or both. See Season offers.

The parts of the ad

  • Photo gallery of the car.
  • Language: if the ad has a translation, you switch between "ES" and "EN".
  • Who's selling: "Sold by" and the name. Tap the name to see the agency's page.
  • Price, with the caption "Price published by the seller." If the car has a season offer, you see the season block instead, with the before price and your savings; if the lot takes part but this car doesn't, it says «Este auto no participa en El Buen Fin.» ("This car isn't part of El Buen Fin.", or whichever season applies).
  • Action buttons: "Request appointment", "Chat with seller", "WhatsApp" (if the store shows its phone), "Save", "Estimate financing", and "Share". On cars, below them, "Download spec sheet".
  • Summary: "Mileage", "Transmission", "Fuel", and "Body style".
  • "Specifications" with year, color, location, and other details. If the seller entered them, also "Engine" (for example "2.0 L · 4 cylinders"), "Drivetrain", and "Origin". If they registered the VIN, also "Built in", with the city and country, or only the country, where the car was built.
  • "Description" from the seller. If they didn't write anything, it says "The seller has not added a description."
  • "Similar listings": other similar units.
  • "Verify before you pay": the safety notice with the "Report this listing" button.

Download the spec sheet

On cars you can download a PDF sheet with the car's photo, price, and details, with the seller's logo and colors. Keep it, print it, or compare it with other cars.

Tap the button

Tap "Download spec sheet", below the action buttons, or "Download PDF", next to the "Specifications" heading. While it's being prepared it says "Preparing…".

Open the PDF

A letter-size sheet downloads. It comes in the language you're viewing the ad in: with "EN" you get it in English.

The sheet has the price you see on the ad (if there's a season offer, the season price and the old one), the details the seller entered, and a QR code that takes you back to the ad. The seller's phone shows only if they show it on their public page; if not, contact them from the ad.

What you see · Below the spec sheet button

«We couldn't prepare the spec sheet. Try again.»

What it means. The sheet didn't finish preparing.

What to do.

  1. Tap the button again in a moment.

«You downloaded several spec sheets in a row. Wait a few minutes and try again.»

Trust signals

Verified seller

The blue check mark next to the name. The agency or car lot completed Cliquéalo's verification and keeps it current. Only businesses have it, not private sellers.

New seller

Has been on Cliquéalo for less than 30 days. On the ad it says "New seller. Recently joined. Verify before you pay."

Boosted

It's a paid spot. It says nothing about the quality of the car or the seller.

VIN on file

The seller registered the car's serial number. On the ad it says "VIN on file. The seller registered the serial number. Ask for it and check it against the registration card and the car." The number isn't shown: ask the seller for it.

No signal replaces your own check

The "Verify before you pay" notice says it clearly: confirm the seller's identity, check the original paperwork, and go see the unit in person. Be wary of anyone who asks you for a deposit to hold it or insists on moving off the platform.

Share

Tap "Share". On a phone, your phone's share menu opens with the title, the price, and the link. On a computer, the link is copied and you see "Link copied to clipboard"; the button says "Copied" for a moment.

When you share the link on WhatsApp or social media, the car's photo shows as the preview.

The usual case

The ad is complete

You see photos, price, specifications, description, and the buttons to get in touch.

Something doesn't work the first time

Some details are missing

If the seller didn't write a description or didn't enter some detail, that part doesn't appear or says "The seller has not added a description."

Worst case

The ad no longer exists

If the car was sold, archived, or removed, the link leads to a not found page. Go back to the catalog and look for another one.

Special case

You open a home's link from the cars section

We take you straight to the correct address for that ad.

What you see · "Share" button

«We could not copy the link»

What it means. Your browser didn't allow the link to be copied.

What to do.

  1. Copy the address from the browser's address bar.
