Season credit

Give your customers a lower rate, opening fee, or down payment on your credit plans while the season lasts.

If your lot offers credit, during the season you can improve each credit plan's terms: a lower rate, a smaller opening fee, or a lower minimum down payment. Your customers see them in your cars' credit simulator and in the quotes they generate, always as subject to approval.

Before you start

  • Your role needs the «Gestionar tabuladores de crédito» ("Manage credit tables") permission. Without it, the «Crédito» ("Credit") section doesn't appear.
  • Only your lot's active credit plans appear. If you have none, the «Crédito» ("Credit") section doesn't appear.
  • You can get the promotion ready even if your registration is still under review; your customers only see it while the season is running and your participation is active.

Add the promotion to a credit plan

Find the credit plan

In PanelTemporadas ("Panel > Seasons"), open the season and scroll to «Crédito» ("Credit"). Each plan shows its lender and its usual terms: rate, fee, and down payment.

Turn on «Promoción de temporada» ("Season promotion")

The promotion's fields open.

Type the terms you're improving

Fill in one, two, or all three: «Tasa anual de temporada» ("Season annual rate"), «Comisión por apertura» ("Opening fee"), and «Enganche desde» ("Down payment from"). Below each one you see its usual value («Tasa normal», «Comisión normal», «Enganche normal»: "Regular rate", "Regular fee", "Regular down payment"). Leave empty the ones you don't change.

Write the requirements

In «Requisitos» ("Requirements"), write what your customer needs for the promotion, between 10 and 600 characters. For example: «Identificación oficial, comprobante de domicilio y de ingresos. Sujeto a aprobación de la financiera.» ("Official ID, proof of address and income. Subject to lender approval.").

Save

Tap «Guardar promoción» ("Save promotion"). You see «Guardamos la promoción de este crédito.» ("We saved this credit plan's promotion.").

Each season term has to be better than the usual one: the rate, lower than your regular rate and above 0%; the fee and the down payment, lower than the regular ones. The down payment can go down to 0%.

Remove the promotion

Turn off «Promoción de temporada» ("Season promotion"). You see «Quitamos la promoción de este crédito.» ("We removed this credit plan's promotion.") and your customers see the usual terms again.

What your customers see

While the season lasts, in your cars' credit simulator:

  • If you lowered the rate, they see «Tasa de El Buen Fin» ("El Buen Fin rate", or the season's name) and, next to it, «Tasa normal» ("Regular rate") with your usual rate struck through.
  • If you only lowered the fee or the down payment, they see «Promoción de El Buen Fin» ("El Buen Fin offer") with the new term and the usual one.
  • They always see your requirements, «Sujeto a aprobación de la financiera.» ("Subject to lender approval.") and «Válida hasta el» ("Valid through") the season's last day.
  • The simulator's monthly payment is already calculated with the season terms.

When the simulator is shown in English, these lines appear in English.

In the quote they download, the line «Tasa de El Buen Fin» ("El Buen Fin rate") appears, with the regular rate next to it if you lowered it.

The lender decides

The promotion is your offer, not an approval. Make sure the lender backs those terms before you publish them.

When the season ends, your credit plans go back to their usual terms on their own.

Scenarios

The usual case

You lower the rate

Your plan has a 15.9% rate and you set 12.9%. During the season your customers see «Tasa de El Buen Fin 12.9%» ("El Buen Fin rate 12.9%") with 15.9% struck through, and the monthly payment goes down.

Something doesn't work the first time

You only lower the down payment

You keep the rate and lower the down payment from 20% to 10%. Your customers see «Promoción de El Buen Fin» ("El Buen Fin offer") with «Enganche desde 10%» ("Down payment from 10%").

Worst case

You type an equal or higher rate

It isn't saved: the season rate has to be lower than your regular rate.

Special case

You deactivate the credit plan on your lot

The promotion stops showing along with the plan. If you deactivate it while you're editing, you see «Este crédito ya no está activo en tu lote.» ("This credit plan is no longer active on your lot.").
