Complete your listing and raise its score

A complete ad gets found sooner

Every car has a score that tells you how complete its ad is, from 0 to 85 points. No detail is required, but each one helps your car show up sooner when the catalog is sorted by “Relevance”.

A complete ad is also more convincing. If someone is looking for an automatic sedan under 250 thousand pesos, they want to see good photos, the exact trim, and a clear description before they message you.

Only you see the score, in your panel. Buyers don't see the number or the bar.

Where you see your score

The panel is in Spanish, so each text comes with its translation.

Open the car

In PanelInventario (“Panel > Inventory”) tap the car you want to check.

Go to edit

In its workspace tap «Editar» (“Edit”).

Read the box

Above the form is «Qué tan completa está la publicación» (“How complete the ad is”), with the points it has, for example «40 de 85 puntos» (“40 of 85 points”), and a bar that fills up as you add more.

Below it you see what's missing, each item with the points it adds, like «+10». When it has everything, it says «Tiene todo lo que suma puntos.» (“It has everything that adds points.”).

What adds the most

«Registrar el VIN» (“Register the VIN”): +25. It's private; your ad only shows «VIN registrado» (“VIN registered”).
Photos: «Subir 8 fotos o más» (“Upload 8 photos or more”) adds 15, and reaching 15 photos adds 5 more.
«Escribir la versión» (“Enter the trim”), «Escribir una descripción de 80 caracteres o más» (“Write a description of 80 characters or more”), and «Agregar código postal y colonia» (“Add ZIP code and neighborhood”): +10 each.
«Indicar el número de puertas» (“Enter the number of doors”) and «Agregar la traducción al inglés» (“Add the English translation”): +5 each. You turn on English in «Idioma de la publicación» (“Ad language”), with «Agregar inglés» (“Add English”).

Changes count when you tap «Guardar cambios» (“Save changes”). While you type, the score doesn't move; to see the new points, open «Editar» again. Photos count as soon as you upload or delete them.

Before you move on

A car with few points still gets published. Completing it just helps it show up sooner.
Points don't decide whether your car is approved; the review does.
Paying to put an ad in the top spots of the catalog doesn't raise its points: they're different things.
If the list shows «VIN en revisión» (“VIN under review”), you don't need to do anything. The Cliquéalo team is reviewing it and, meanwhile, those points don't count.

Tip

Start with the VIN and the photos: together they add up to more than half the points.
