Branches

Add your agency's branches and split among them the cars your plan covers.

If your agency has several points of sale, you can add them as branches and decide how many cars each one publishes. Branches don't add capacity: they split the capacity your plan already has.

Before you start

  • Your plan must include branches. How many you can have depends on the plan; you see it on the same screen. If your plan doesn't include them, the «Sucursales» ("Branches") block doesn't appear. See Plans and payments.
  • You need the «Editar perfil de agencia» ("Edit agency profile") permission.

The block is in AjustesMi agenciaEscaparate ("Settings > My agency > Storefront"), below the agency details. At the top it tells you how many ads your plan covers and up to how many branches you can have.

Add a branch

Open the form

Tap «Agregar sucursal» ("Add branch").

Fill in the details

  • «Nombre de la sucursal *» ("Branch name *"): required, for example «Sucursal Polanco» ("Polanco Branch").
  • «Estado» ("State"), «Ciudad» ("City"), «Código postal» ("ZIP code"), and «Colonia» ("Neighborhood").
  • «Calle y número» ("Street and number").
  • «Correo de la sucursal» ("Branch email") and «Teléfono» ("Phone").

Create the branch

Tap «Crear sucursal» ("Create branch"). While it's being created you see «Creando…» ("Creating…"). When it's done, «Sucursal creada.» ("Branch created.") appears and the branch is added to the table.

When you reach your plan's maximum, the button changes to «Llegaste al tope (N)» ("You've reached the cap (N)") and can't be tapped.

Split the cars among branches

The table shows each branch with its address («Sin dirección» ("No address") if it has none), how many cars it has published («Publicadas» ("Published")), how many it has unpublished («Borradores» ("Drafts")), and its «Cupo» ("Quota").

Enter each branch's quota

In the «Cupo» column, enter how many cars each branch can have published. If you leave one blank (it says «Fondo común» ("Shared pool")), that branch takes from what's left over.

Check the total

At the bottom you see «Asignado: N de M» ("Assigned: N of M") and how much is left in the shared pool today. If you go over the total, the number turns red.

Save

Tap «Guardar reparto» ("Save allocation"). When it's done you see «Reparto actualizado.» ("Allocation updated.").

What the shared pool is

It's what's left after subtracting the fixed quotas from your plan's total. All the branches without their own number share that remainder. If you don't set anything up, they all use the shared pool and everything keeps working.

The usual case

Fixed quotas

For example, if your plan covers 60 cars, you put 40 in the main branch and 20 in another branch. The total adds up and you save.

Something doesn't work the first time

Mix of fixed quotas and shared pool

With the same example, you put 40 in the main branch and leave the rest blank. The others share the remaining 20.

Worst case

You moved to a lower plan and the allocation no longer fits

The notice «El reparto guardado suma N publicaciones más de las que cubre tu plan actual. No despublicamos nada, pero ajusta los números para que las sucursales vuelvan a operar con su cupo completo.» ("The saved allocation adds up to N more ads than your current plan covers. We don't unpublish anything, but adjust the numbers so the branches can operate with their full quota again.") appears. Lower a quota and save.

Special case

A single branch

With only one active branch there's nothing to assign per person: the option to assign branches to your team appears when you have two or more.

To decide which branches each person on your team works at, see Roles and permissions.
