Sync statuses
What each status of a car on Mercado Libre means, what to do when something needs attention, and how to retry.
Every car linked with Mercado Libre has a status on that channel. You see it in three places:
- In your inventory, with each channel's icon over the car's photo.
- In the car's details, «Canales» ("Channels") section.
- In AjustesIntegracionesConectar aplicaciones ("Settings > Integrations > Connect apps"), in «Publicaciones» ("Ads") and «Actividad» ("Activity").
The car's status on the channel
This is the status you see in your inventory and in the car's «Canales» section.
The ad is active on Mercado Libre and matches your inventory.
There's a change on its way or waiting for Mercado Libre's confirmation. In the details it says «Sincronizando…» (“Syncing…”).
What you can do: Wait. In your inventory you see «Sincronizando con el canal…» (“Syncing with the channel…”).
Mercado Libre is downloading the ad's photos. In the details it says «Procesando fotos en Mercado Libre» (“Processing photos on Mercado Libre”).
What you can do: Wait a few minutes.
The ad is paused on Mercado Libre.
What you can do: Activate it with «Activar» (“Activate”) in «Canales» or from the Mercado Libre screen.
The ad ended on Mercado Libre.
What you can do: Republish it with «Republicar» (“Republish”) in «Canales», or tap «Desvincular» (“Unlink”) to publish the car with a new ad.
Something doesn't match or Mercado Libre reported a problem. In the details it says «Error al sincronizar» (“Sync error”).
What you can do: Review the car's list of problems and resolve them.
If the car isn't on Mercado Libre, in «Canales» you see «No publicado» ("Not published"; with a connected account) or «No conectado» ("Not connected"; without an account).
The ad's status on the Mercado Libre screen
In «Publicaciones» each ad shows a label. Filter between «Todas» ("All"), «Activas» ("Active"), and «Por vincular» ("To link"). The number on each filter counts all your ads on Mercado Libre, even when the list only shows the most recent ones.
The ad isn't linked to any car in your inventory.
What you can do: Link it, incorporate it, or reconcile it.
Active on Mercado Libre.
Paused on Mercado Libre.
Mercado Libre hasn't activated it yet because it's processing the photos.
Mercado Libre is reviewing it.
Closed on Mercado Libre.
Inactive on Mercado Libre.
Mercado Libre is asking for a payment to publish it.
There's a sent change that Mercado Libre hasn't confirmed yet.
That ad's last sync failed.
The ad no longer exists on Mercado Libre.
What Mercado Libre explains
When Mercado Libre gives a reason, you see it on a line below the ad's status: in its details in «Publicaciones» and in the car's «Canales». In «Canales», a «Finalizada» ad shows as «Cerrado», a «Pausada» one as «Pausado», and an «En revisión», «No disponible», or «Pago pendiente» one as «Error al sincronizar».

A car's status before publishing it on Mercado Libre
In the «Publicar un auto» ("Publish a car") wizard, each car in your inventory shows:
- «Sin preparar» ("Not prepared"): you haven't sent it yet.
- «Datos guardados» ("Details saved"): you saved the setup and it's ready to validate.
- «Procesando» ("Processing"): it's being sent.
- «Requiere datos» ("Needs details"): Mercado Libre asked for missing details. Use «Completar datos faltantes» ("Complete missing details").
- «En Mercado Libre» ("On Mercado Libre"): it's already published.
- «Publícalo primero en Cliquéalo» ("Publish it on Cliquéalo first"): the car isn't published here, so it can't be sent.
Activity
In «Actividad» you see each send: «Publicar» ("Publish"), «Actualizar» ("Update"), «Pausar» ("Pause"), «Activar», «Cerrar» ("Close"), «Republicar», «Eliminar» ("Delete"), «Responder pregunta» ("Answer question"), «Importar auto» ("Import car"), or «Importar foto» ("Import photo"), with its status:
Queued, not sent yet.
It's being sent to Mercado Libre.
The send got through: Mercado Libre confirmed it or the ad was already that way. For «Importar auto» and «Importar foto», the car or the photo is already in your inventory.
The send finished without reaching Mercado Libre. For example: your plan no longer includes Mercado Libre, your account is suspended for nonpayment, the car is missing its Mercado Libre details, the ad is no longer linked to a car, it's closed or was deleted, or the import stopped.
What you can do: Read the reason below the status and fix it.
It failed and Cliquéalo will try again. Below you see the reason.
Mercado Libre rejected the send because of missing or invalid details.
What you can do: Fix the detail and validate again.
Below the status you may see a line of text:
- In gray, under «Completada» ("Completed"): a notice about a send that already finished. It isn't an error. For example, «Mercado Libre administra el precio automáticamente; se sincronizaron los demás campos.» ("Mercado Libre manages the price automatically; the other fields were synced.").
- In amber, under «Sin enviar» ("Not sent"): why it wasn't sent. For example, «La operación no se envió porque el plan ya no incluye Mercado Libre.» ("The operation wasn't sent because the plan no longer includes Mercado Libre.").
- In red, when the status is «Reintentará» ("Will retry") or «Requiere datos» ("Needs details"): the reason it failed or the details that are missing.
On the Mercado Libre screen, the «Actividad» card counts as «envíos con problema» ("sends with problems") the ones that are «Reintentará», «Requiere datos», or «Sin enviar».
What to do when a car needs attention
Open the car and go to «Canales». In the Requiere atención ("Needs attention") box you see the list of problems. The most common:
- «Precio en Mercado Libre no coincide con Cliquéalo.» ("Price on Mercado Libre doesn't match Cliquéalo."; or title, mileage, and any other detail): what you have on Cliquéalo is different from what's on Mercado Libre.
- «Error al sincronizar» ("Sync error"): the last read of that ad failed.
- «La publicación ya no está disponible en Mercado Libre» ("The ad is no longer available on Mercado Libre"): the ad no longer shows up in your Mercado Libre account. If it no longer exists, tap «Desvincular», next to Mercado Libre, and publish the car again with «Publicar en Mercado Libre».
- «Falta la lectura remota de Mercado Libre» ("Mercado Libre's remote read is missing").
- «La conexión de Mercado Libre requiere atención.» ("The Mercado Libre connection needs attention.")

You have two buttons:
Resolve differences
Tap «Resolver diferencias» ("Resolve differences"). In «Elige qué datos se quedan» ("Choose which details stay") select, detail by detail, whether you keep «Cliquéalo»'s or «Mercado Libre»'s, check «Así quedará» ("This is how it will look"), and tap «Guardar» ("Save"). Whatever you choose from Mercado Libre is brought into your car; if you keep anything from Cliquéalo, the Mercado Libre ad is updated with your car's details. You see the «Listo» ("Done") notice with what happened. You need permission to manage connected apps. See Incorporate and reconcile.
Retry
Tap «Reintentar» ("Retry") to sync the account again. When it's done you see the summary of what was synced.
«Resolver diferencias» shows up when what's different is the price, title, mileage, version, doors, condition, color, transmission, fuel, or body type. If what's different is the year, make, model, currency, description, or photos, fix it on your car and, on the Mercado Libre screen, open the ad and tap «Actualizar con los datos de Cliquéalo» ("Update with Cliquéalo's details"); or fix it directly on Mercado Libre.
Below each channel you see «Actualizado» ("Updated") with the time of the last read, and a history of what happened with the car on the channel. When the car stops being tied to an ad, «Historial del caso» ("Case history") says «Desvinculado automáticamente» ("Unlinked automatically") if the ad was deleted on Mercado Libre, or «Desvinculado a mano» ("Unlinked by hand") with the name of whoever tapped «Desvincular» in «Canales» or «Desvincular del inventario» ("Unlink from inventory") on the Mercado Libre screen. If the ad was still on Mercado Libre, the detail says «El anuncio sigue en Mercado Libre, separado del auto.» ("The ad is still on Mercado Libre, separate from the car."). When someone links the ad to the car from the Mercado Libre screen, it says «Vinculado a mano» ("Linked by hand"), with their name.
The usual case
Change confirmed
You update the price and send it. The car moves to «Sincronizando» and, when Mercado Libre confirms, to «Publicado».
Something doesn't work the first time
They changed the price on Mercado Libre
Someone changed the price directly on Mercado Libre. The car ends up «Requiere atención» with «Precio en Mercado Libre no coincide con Cliquéalo.». Tap «Resolver diferencias» and choose which price you keep.
Worst case
The send keeps failing
In «Actividad» you see «Reintentará» several times with the same reason. Fix the detail the reason points to and send again.
Special case
The ad was deleted on Mercado Libre
Someone deleted the ad directly on Mercado Libre. On the next sync the car is unlinked on its own: in «Canales» you see «No publicado» and in «Historial del caso», «Desvinculado automáticamente». Tap «Publicar en Mercado Libre» to create a new ad. If before that you see the ad with «Se eliminó de Mercado Libre.», tap «Desvincular».
