Sign in and sign out
How to sign in with Google, a passkey, a password, or a code, how to confirm a sign-in from a new device, and how to sign out.
To get into your panel you need to sign in. You can do it with Google, with a passkey, with your password, or with a code sent to your email. Cliquéalo first asks for the most secure method your account has.
Before you start
- You need an account. If you don't have one, tap "Sign up" on the same screen.
- If your email isn't confirmed yet, we'll ask you to confirm it before letting you in. See Verify your email.
Open "Sign in"
At the top you see "Continue with Google" and "Continue with a passkey". Below, "or with email".
Enter your email and tap "Continue"
While we check your account, the button says "Signing in...". Your email stays at the top with the "Change email" option in case you made a mistake.
Confirm it's you
Depending on what your account has turned on, you'll see one of these methods. You can switch to another with the links that appear below:
- Passkey: your device asks for your face, your fingerprint, or your PIN. If you prefer another method, tap "Use my password".
- Code: we automatically email you a code and you see "Code sent. Check your email.". Type it in the boxes; once it's complete, it submits on its own. If it didn't arrive, tap "Send another code".
- Password: type it and tap "Sign in". If your account has passkey or code sign-in turned on, you'll see "Sign in with your passkey" or "Sign in with a code instead".
Decide whether you trust this device
The "Trust this device" box comes checked. We remember the device and your network for 90 days so we don't ask you for a code every time. Uncheck it if you're on a shared computer.
Sign in with a passkey without typing your email
With "Continue with a passkey", your browser shows you the passkeys it has saved for Cliquéalo. You pick yours and you're in. If you don't have one yet, create it from Security.
Confirm a sign-in from a new device
If you sign in from a device or a location we don't recognize, you see the «Confirma este acceso» ("Confirm this sign-in") screen before your panel opens.
- If your account has no second factor, we email you a code and the screen says «Enviamos un código a» ("We sent a code to") your email «para verificar que eres tú.» ("to verify it's you."). The email is titled «Confirma este acceso», includes the device and the location, and the code expires in 10 minutes.
- If your account has a passkey or an authenticator app, it says «Es un equipo que no conocemos. Confirma que eres tú con tu segundo factor.» ("This is a device we don't know. Confirm it's you with your second factor.").
Under «¿No puedes ahora?» ("Can't right now?") you can switch methods: «Usar mi passkey» ("Use my passkey"), «Usar mi app de autenticación» ("Use my authenticator app"), «Usar un código de respaldo» ("Use a backup code"), or «Enviar un código a mi correo» ("Send a code to my email"; this last one only if your account has no second factor). Tap «Confirmar y entrar» ("Confirm and sign in").
With «Confiar en este dispositivo» ("Trust this device") checked, we won't ask you for a code from that device again. Unchecked, you get in this time and we'll ask again next time.
You also get a «Nuevo inicio de sesión» ("New sign-in") email when we detect a device we hadn't seen before.
The usual case
You sign in from your usual device
You enter your email, confirm with your passkey or your password, and go straight to your panel.
Something doesn't work the first time
You sign in from a new device
After your password, «Confirma este acceso» appears. You type the code or use your second factor and see «Acceso confirmado» ("Sign-in confirmed").
Special case
You lost the phone with your app or your passkey
In «Confirma este acceso», choose «Usar un código de respaldo». Each code works only once.
Sign out
Open your avatar menu
It's at the top right.
Tap «Cerrar sesión» ("Sign out")
You see the notice «Cerrando sesión...» ("Signing out...") with «Tu sesión se cerrará en este dispositivo.» ("Your session will close on this device."). When it's done, «Sesión cerrada.» ("Signed out.") appears and you go back to the home page.
Signing out only affects this device. To sign your account out on other devices, use «Sesiones y dispositivos» ("Sessions and devices") in Security. When you sign out, we also remove that account from this browser's account list.
