Price and currency
How to enter your car's price in pesos or in dollars and how to change it later.
The price is required and must be at least 1. It's the price buyers see in the catalog.
In the wizard
In «¿En cuánto lo vendes?» ("How much are you selling it for?") type the price: «Precio en pesos mexicanos. Siempre puedes cambiarlo.» ("Price in Mexican pesos. You can always change it."). Thousands are separated automatically as you type. Tap «Continuar» ("Continue") (or Enter).
In the wizard the price is always in pesos (MXN). If you sell in dollars, change it later from the panel.
In the panel form
Choose the currency
Next to «Precio» ("Price") is the currency selector: pesos (MXN) or dollars (USD). «Cambia entre pesos y dólares según la moneda en la que publicas.» ("Switch between pesos and dollars depending on the currency you publish in.").
Type the price
Type the full amount.
Change the price
Open the car, go to «Editar» ("Edit"), change the price, and tap «Guardar cambios» ("Save changes"). If the car was Publicado, it goes back to En revisión so the change can be reviewed. See Edit an ad.
Real price
A price that doesn't match the car (for example, 1 peso to attract visits) is rejected with the reason «Precio fuera de mercado o engañoso» ("Off-market or misleading price").

Something doesn't work the first time
You sell in dollars
Publish from the panel or, if you used the wizard, go to «Editar» and change the currency to USD.
Worst case
Misleading price
The team rejects it with «Precio fuera de mercado o engañoso». Correct the price and save it; if you think it was a mistake, you can ask for another review. See Review and rejections.
Special case
Car on hold
You can change the price of a car that's En espera; it stays on hold until there's room in your plan.
