Getting started

Cliquéalo Academy

Learn to use Cliquéalo with video and guide lessons, earn badges, and get the Academy certificate.

The Cliquéalo Academy brings together short courses to learn how to buy, sell, and run your agency on Cliquéalo. Each lesson has two parts: a short video and a guide you read in a few minutes. When you finish a course you earn its badge, and when you finish the whole Academy you get your certificate. It's in the Help Center and you can use it without an account: go to Cliquéalo Academy.

Where to find it

  • In your panel, in the side menu: «Academia» ("Academy"), with the description «Videos, guías, insignias y tu certificado» ("Videos, guides, badges and your certificate"). It appears on every account. On your phone it's under «Ver todo» ("See all").
  • On the Help Center home page, in the "Learn with videos" box, with the "Go to the Academy" button.
  • In the Help Center articles, with the "Cliquéalo Academy" link at the top. Many articles also have a "Watch it on video" card that takes you straight to the lesson on that topic.
  • In your personal details: in AjustesCuentaDatos personales ("Settings > Account > Personal details"), the «Academia Cliquéalo» ("Cliquéalo Academy") block has the «Ir a la Academia» ("Go to the Academy") button.

How a lesson is completed

"The lesson is complete once you watch the video and finish the guide." You can do the two parts in any order.

PartWhat you doHow you know it's done
VideoYou watch almost all of it, without fast-forwarding or skipping parts."Watch the video" changes to "Video watched".
GuideYou read its sections, move from one to the next with "Continue", and on the last one tap "I finished the guide"."Read the guide" changes to "Guide read".

With both parts, the lesson says "Lesson complete". Completed lessons count toward your badges and the certificate only if you're signed in.

The courses

There are five courses. Each one says who it's for, how many lessons it has, how many minutes of video it adds up to, and which badge you earn when you finish it.

CourseLessonsWho it's forBadge
"Buy and sell on Cliquéalo"6"For everyone""First steps"
"Your agency and your team"5"For dealerships and sellers""Agency in order"
"Your inventory"6"For dealerships and sellers""Inventory up to date"
"Your customers"3"For dealerships and sellers""Customer care"
"Financing"3"For dealerships and sellers""Credit at hand"

If you finish all five courses, you also earn the "Academy complete" badge and the Academy certificate.

The Academy home page

  • At the top: "Learn Cliquéalo with short videos and guides", how many courses there are, "23 lessons with video and guide", and the minutes of video. The button says "Start" if you haven't completed any lesson yet, "Continue" if you've completed some, and "Watch again" if you've completed them all. It takes you to the first lesson you're missing.
  • Your progress: "Your progress" says how many lessons you've completed, for example "3 of 23 lessons", with a bar.
  • Your certificate: while you're missing lessons, it says "Finish all 23 lessons to earn the Academy certificate. You've done 3.". Once you have it, it says "You earned your certificate!" and "You're one of the people who finished the Cliquéalo Academy.", with the "View my certificate" button.
  • Badges: "Finish a course to earn its badge. The badges you earn show on your profile.". The ones you've earned say "Earned on" and the date; the ones you're missing are gray and say how far along you are in their course, for example "2 of 6 lessons". Tapping one takes you to its course.
  • Courses: each course with its lessons in order, its progress, and its "Course badge". Completed lessons have the "Completed" chip. When you finish a course, its progress says "Course finished".

Take a lesson

Open the lesson

On the Academy home page, tap a lesson. The video is at the top. Below it you see the course, the lesson's number (for example "Video 2"), and what you're missing: "Watch the video" and "Read the guide", with the reminder "The lesson is complete once you watch the video and finish the guide.". In "In this course" you see all the lessons in the course with their length: completed ones have a check mark, the ones you're halfway through (only the video or only the guide) have their number in a green ring, and the one you're taking is highlighted.

Watch the video

Tap the video to play it. It counts as watched when you watch almost all of it. If you fast-forward or skip parts, it doesn't count: go back to what you missed and watch it. When it counts, "Watch the video" changes to "Video watched".

Read the guide

Below the video is the "Lesson guide". At the top it says how long it takes to read and which section you're on, for example "3 min read · Section 1 of 4", with a bar that fills up section by section. Each section is short: read it and tap "Continue" to go to the next one; "Previous" takes you back. On the last section, tap "I finished the guide". You'll see "Done! You finished the guide." and the "Guide read" chip. If you want to review it, on the last section "Back to the start" takes you to the first one.

Go on to the next one

Use "Previous" and "Next" to move between lessons; once the lesson is complete, the button says "Next video". At the end of a course, the button takes you to the first lesson of the following course. On the Academy's last lesson it says "Go to the Academy". In "Other courses" you can jump to the start of any other course.

If you'd rather read the full procedure, "Read it step by step in the help center" takes you to the Help Center article on that topic.

When the video ends: the next lesson

When the video ends, "Up next" appears over it with the title of the next lesson and, on medium or large screens, its number and length, for example "Lesson 2 · 0:48". If the next one is in another course, it says "Next course:" with the course name. In the middle there's a play button with a green ring that fills up, and below it says how much time is left, for example "Starts in 5s".

  • Do nothing and after 5 seconds you go to the next lesson. You'll see "Loading the next lesson…" and, when you get there, the video starts on its own.
  • Tap the button in the ring to go right away, without waiting.
  • Tap "Cancel" (or press Esc) to stay. You then have two buttons: "Watch again", which plays the video from the beginning, and "Next lesson", to move on whenever you want.
  • If you haven't read the guide yet, you'll see "You still need to read this lesson's guide." and the "Read the guide" button, which takes you to the guide and stops the move to the next lesson.

On the Academy's last lesson there's no countdown: it says "You finished the last lesson." with "Go to the Academy" and "Watch again".

It doesn't move to the next lesson on its own if a badge or certificate celebration appears, or if your progress couldn't be saved; in those cases it stays stopped so you can see the message.

Turn off moving on automatically

Tap the video's gear ("Settings") and turn off "Autoplay". When each video ends you'll go straight to "Watch again" and "Next lesson", with no countdown. Your choice is remembered in that browser.

On a computer, arrows appear on the sides of the video while the controls are showing. When you move the pointer over an arrow you see "Previous:" or "Next:" with that lesson's title; click it to go there. On your phone, use the buttons below the video.

Your progress, signed in and signed out

Your progress is saved to your account: you see the same progress on any device where you sign in. While it saves, "Saving your progress…" appears. The lessons you complete count toward your badges and the certificate.

What you did signed out doesn't move to your account

If you sign in later, your account starts with its own progress. Take those lessons again while signed in so they count toward your badges and your certificate.

Badges

Each course has its badge, and you earn it when you complete all of its lessons, video and guide. You can only earn them while signed in.

BadgeHow you earn it
"First steps"Finish the "Buy and sell on Cliquéalo" course.
"Agency in order"Finish the "Your agency and your team" course.
"Inventory up to date"Finish the "Your inventory" course.
"Customer care"Finish the "Your customers" course.
"Credit at hand"Finish the "Financing" course.
"Academy complete"Finish all 23 lessons in the five courses.

In each lesson, the "Course badge" box reminds you which one you'll earn: "Finish this course to earn the “First steps” badge.", or "You already earned the “First steps” badge." if you already have it.

When you earn a badge, the "You earned a badge!" window opens with the badge and "It now shows on your profile.". If you earn more than one at once, it says "You earned new badges!". "View my profile" takes you to your personal details in the panel, and "Close" lets you stay in the lesson.

A badge you've earned is yours for good, even if we later add lessons to its course.

The Academy certificate

How you get it

Complete all 23 lessons while signed in. When you complete the last one you were missing, you earn "Academy complete" and get the Cliquéalo Academy certificate. Instead of the badge window, "You earned your certificate!" opens, with the badges you just earned and "You finished the Cliquéalo Academy. Your certificate is ready to share.". Tap "View my certificate" to open it or "View my profile" to go to your personal details.

What your certificate says

It's a diploma in Cliquéalo's colors. It has:

  • The title "Cliquéalo Academy Certificate" and the "Certified by Cliquéalo.mx" seal.
  • "Cliquéalo.mx certifies that" and your full name.
  • If you belong to a dealership or lot, below your name it says "of" and its name. If you belong to several, it's the one you had open in your panel when you finished. If you don't belong to any, the certificate is in your name only.
  • "completed the Cliquéalo Academy: 5 courses and 23 video and guide lessons." and the six badges.
  • The "Issue date" and the "Cliquéalo Team" signature.
  • The "Certificate ID": your certificate's unique code.
  • A QR code with "Scan to verify": when someone scans it with their phone's camera, your certificate's page opens.
  • "Verify it at" and the address of your certificate's page.

The Academy certificate doesn't expire.

Add your name if it wasn't complete

The certificate uses the full name on your account. If your account didn't have your first name and at least one last name, instead of the name it says "Your name goes here" and, above the diploma, "Put your name on your certificate" appears. Meanwhile, anyone who opens your certificate sees "Holder to be confirmed".

Write your name

In "Your full name", write it exactly as you want it to appear: "First name and at least one last name.".

Check it and save it

Tap "Save my name". You'll see "Done. Your name now appears on your certificate." and the diploma updates with your name.

You're only asked once

Once saved, the name on your certificate can't be changed. Check accents and last names before tapping "Save my name".

Download it, share it, and verify it

When you open your certificate, at the top you see "Valid certificate" with "Cliquéalo.mx issued this certificate and it is still valid." and, once it has your name, "This is your certificate. Download it as a PDF or an image, share it or add it to your LinkedIn profile.".

Next to it is the card that shows who it belongs to: your photo (or your initials, if you don't have a photo) with "Holder" and your name. If the certificate carries your dealership or lot's name, below it you see "Lot or dealership" with its logo and name, like a badge. That way, whoever checks it knows it's you and which lot you work with.

Below the diploma you have:

  • "Download PDF": downloads your certificate as a PDF, on a landscape page, ready to print or send. While it's being prepared you see "Preparing…" and "We're preparing the PDF. It takes a few seconds."; when it's done, "Done. Check your downloads.".
  • "Download image": downloads it as an image, to post it on your social networks or send it in a chat.
  • "Share": opens your phone's or computer's share menu. If your browser doesn't have that menu, you see "WhatsApp" instead, which opens WhatsApp with your certificate's link ready to send.
  • "Copy link": copies your certificate's address. You'll see "Link copied. You can paste it anywhere.".
  • "Add to LinkedIn": opens LinkedIn in another tab so you can add the certificate to your profile, with its name, ID, and link already filled in. Only you see it, and only once your name is on the certificate.
  • "Print": opens your browser's print dialog. Only the diploma prints, on a landscape page.
  • "Explore the Academy": takes you to the Academy home page.

Downloading, sharing, and the holder card appear once the certificate has a name.

Anyone with the link, or who scans the QR code, can see your certificate, even without an account. Below the diploma, "How to check it" explains how to know it's authentic: every certificate has a unique ID, and if the page opens on Cliquéalo.mx and the ID matches the one on the diploma, the certificate is authentic.

Where to find it again

  • On the Academy home page, in "Your certificate", with "View my certificate".
  • In AjustesCuentaDatos personales ("Settings > Account > Personal details"), in the «Academia Cliquéalo» ("Cliquéalo Academy") block: «Certificado de la Academia Cliquéalo» ("Cliquéalo Academy Certificate"), its ID, the date it was issued («Emitido el», "Issued on", and the date), «Ver mi certificado» ("View my certificate") and, once it has your name, «Descargar PDF» ("Download PDF").
  • On your agency's team, with the «Certificado» ("Certificate") chip next to your name.

Where your badges and certificate show

  • In your personal details. In AjustesCuentaDatos personales ("Settings > Account > Personal details"), the «Academia Cliquéalo» ("Cliquéalo Academy") block («Insignias y certificado que ganas en la Academia Cliquéalo.», "Badges and certificate you earn in the Cliquéalo Academy.") shows your certificate first: while you're missing lessons, «Tu certificado» ("Your certificate") with «Termina las 23 lecciones y obtén el certificado de la Academia. Llevas 3.» ("Finish all 23 lessons to earn the Academy certificate. You've done 3.") and a progress bar. Below it are the six badges: the ones you've earned with «Ganada el» ("Earned on") and the date, and the others with how far along you are in their course, for example «2 de 6 lecciones» ("2 of 6 lessons"). See Your account details.
  • On your agency's team. In AjustesMi agenciaEquipo ("Settings > My agency > Team"), under «Miembros» ("Members"), next to each person's name are the badges they've earned and, if they've finished the Academy, the «Certificado» ("Certificate") chip. Tapping the chip opens their certificate. That way you know who on your team has already taken each course. See Invite your team.
